
The Challenge:
The ultimate goal of establishing a highly interactive Facebook Fan Page was to align the Vector cereal brand with a high-performance, fitness-oriented lifestyle. Important elements of the Page included incorporating a discount coupon as we as featuring a partnership established with GoodLife Fitness to offer fans free-trial club memberships.
The Execution:
In addition to highlighting the product and its nutritional benefits, personalities of virtual trainers were given a voice via a custom Q&A style commenting feature that allowed Fans to directly communicate with fitness experts. Visitors were incentivized to “Like” the page in order to take advantage of a discount coupon and they were also provided an opportunity to fill out a form and be eligible for the club membership promotion.
The Result:
So far the custom Page has generated close to 7,000 fans, many of which are vocal advocates who share positive feedback about the brand and the page itself. The Wall of the page continues to attract comments and interaction between the brand and its growing fan base of active-living oriented consumers.
