
The Challenge:
Proximity Canada approached E-axis to design and develop an Augmented Reality experience based on a script they wrote for their client, RBC®. The goal was to create a sustainability-oriented experience that would be part of RBC’s 2010 Olympic Sponsorship and its Create a Better Canada campaign. The experience was developed in both English and French and was showcased across Canada as part of a mobile exhibition in addition to being featured on the RBC website.
The Execution:
E-axis built stunning animations of a house and surrounding neighborhood, both modeled in 3D and incorporating over 50,000 polygons. Delivering an outstanding Augmented Reality experience was challenging but very achievable thanks to our ability to marry two existing technologies with our proprietary API.
The Result:
Thousands of people visited the exhibit as it made its way across Canada. The interest and participation it generated lead to both Proximity and RBC being thoroughly impressed with the experience that we delivered.
