Mr. Meaty The Game

The Challenge:
To develop an online game that is engaging and fun to play.  It also needed to extend the Mr. Meaty experience to the web, engaging the target demographic on multiple platforms while extending the reach of the show itself.

The E-Axis Solution: 
E-Axis, after extensive consultation with the client, E-axis developed Mr. Meaty "The Game".  Taking the characters directly from the show, we recreated the food court online in a versatile multi-level, side scrolling game with bosses.  Users need to use ketchup, mustard, or the occasional fart to fend off the various unsavory characters that are roaming around.  Players could also choose to play as either Josh or Parker to defend the food court and save the day.

The Results:
The game was extremely well received, becoming quickly one of the most popular games on the CBC Kids website, In May alone, it reported 165,000 unique visitors, 220,000 overall visits, and 550,000 page views.

J. Walter Thompson and connect@jwt partnered with e-axis to create 4 online games for the Trident "Amazing Taste Adventure" promotion. It was not an easy task, considering all the requirements we put forth, including originality, creativity, game play sophistication, back-end tracking and of course a powerful expression of the Trident brand to engage our target audience.
